Full Time QAQC Engineer (Sheet Metal- Manufacturing) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,500 in Agensi Pekerjaan & Perundingcara Bright Prospect Selangor - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspections.
• Inspect raw materials, components, and finished safety box products to ensure compliance with approved specifications and engineering drawings.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, including cutting, bending, welding, grinding, painting/coating, assembly and installation.
• Work closely with the Production and Engineering teams to minimise defects, scrap and rework.
• Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on safety boxes.
• Inspect key product components such as doors, hinges, locks, locking mechanisms, internal fittings, and surface finishing.
• Ensure all products meet customer requirements, engineering drawings, SOPs, and applicable quality standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and collaborate with relevant departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and follow up on defects identified in incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, quality records, checklists, and other QMS documentation.
• Ensure all measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
• Support ISO 9001 requirements, internal audits, and external audits.
• Analyse rejection, rework, and defect data, and recommend appropriate improvement actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.

To be successful for the role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in QA/QC or Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal, welding, steel products, or machinery manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
