Alps Avenue (Company Transport provided from multiple MRT stations)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Alternate Saturday:
9:00am – 1:00pm

Job Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including shipment arrival, documentation, customs clearance, delivery coordination, billing and shipment closure.
Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding import shipments.
Provide timely shipment updates, handle enquiries and resolve operational issues.
Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs authorities and internal teams.
Monitor shipment status and ensure timely execution according to service standards and internal procedures.
Handle delays, documentation discrepancies and customs-related queries.
Take ownership of complex or high-value shipments and proactively resolve operational issues.
Maintain accurate shipment records, reports and regulatory documentation.
Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Support and guide junior customer service staff on airfreight import procedures.
Escalate unresolved customer or operational issues to management and ensure proper follow-up.
Requirements
Relevant experience in
airfreight forwarding import customer service
.
Good knowledge of airfreight import operations, documentation, customs clearance and billing.
Strong operational and problem-solving skills.
Good customer service, communication and coordination skills.
Able to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
CargoWise experience is preferred.
