About the role

As a Senior Project Manager at I DESIGN & BUILD SDN BHD, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets and project management
• Review projects contractual terms, attending meetings and site walks
• Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Monitoring projects progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensuring projects is done in compliance with contract specifications
• Ensuring smooth handover of the projects is within the expected time frame
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
• Communicating project status updates to clients and management
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior project team members

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in the construction industry
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
