Full Time Senior Manager Business Development Jobs, Salary up to MYR 8,000 in OYO Sabah - Maukerja

We are hiring a Head of Business Development to lead and scale our East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak) market. This role requires a hands-on commercial leader with proven experience in market scaling, team leadership, and high-volume deal execution in competitive urban environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Market Leadership & Expansion

• Own full P&L-linked business development strategy for East Malaysia
• Drive aggressive supply acquisition and market share growth across Sabah Sarawak
• Identify, prioritize and execute high-impact expansion opportunities in a saturated market
• Compete directly with established players such as RedDoorz and ZUZU Hospitality

Team Leadership (Non-Negotiable)

• Lead a team of 5–10+ BD Managers / Executives with full accountability on performance
• Build a high-output, target-driven culture (not support function mindset)
• Drive weekly pipeline reviews, deal tracking, and performance interventions
• Hire, coach, and upgrade team capability continuously

Revenue, Supply & Deal Execution

• Own and deliver monthly & quarterly supply + revenue targets
• Personally drive key strategic deals and enterprise-level partnerships
• Oversee full BD funnel: lead generation → negotiation → closing → onboarding
• Structure and close complex, multi-property or chain-level deals

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 8–12 years of proven commercial experience in BD / Sales / Partnerships
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience leading teams (minimum 5 direct reports) with clear performance ownership
• Strong track record of consistently hitting or exceeding revenue / expansion targets
• Proven experience in multi-location or city-level market scaling (KL highly preferred)
• Experience in hospitality, travel, property, or marketplace / platform businesses
