POSITION 1: Device42 Consultant
Salary: RM 8,000–10,000 per month
Job Summary
The Middleware Engineer / SME will manage enterprise middleware platforms supporting business-critical applications, system integrations, and application services.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain middleware environments.
- Manage application servers, messaging services, and integration components.
- Monitor middleware availability, performance, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot application connectivity, deployment, and transaction-processing issues.
- Perform patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and release support.
- Support incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Coordinate with application developers, database administrators, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
- Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with middleware platforms such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly, Apache Tomcat, or equivalent.
- Understanding of Java application environments, web servers, and enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix, networking, SSL/TLS, and application troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with scripting, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes.
- Strong production support and problem-solving skills.
