Job Purpose:

The Technician at Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park is responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities through routine maintenance, repair tasks, and supporting operational needs. This role includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and addressing maintenance requests to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.

2. Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from guests and departments, minimizing disruptions.

3. Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment and systems as they arise.

1. Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

2. Follow the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure all systems and equipment are functioning optimally.

1. Perform all tasks in compliance with safety standards, hotel policies, and operational guidelines.

2. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

3. Identify and report any safety hazards or malfunctioning equipment to the Engineering Manager.

1. Coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure seamless operation.

2. Support the team in cross-departmental technical needs.

3. Assist in training team members in maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

1. Provide excellent service by addressing guest maintenance requests promptly and courteously.

2. Ensure all public and back-of-house areas are well-maintained and meet guest expectations.

1. Oversee the functionality of essential operational systems, such as elevators, lighting, and water supply.

Coordinate with vendors or external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks as directed by the Engineering Manager.

Pay: RM2,500.00 per month
