As part of its continued growth, the company is hiring multiple headcounts across Manager, Senior Executive, and Executive levels to support global customs compliance, chemical regulatory operations, product classification, and international trade initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multinational organisation with a highly collaborative environment, international exposure, and strong career development opportunities.

Your new role

As a member of the Global Customs & Chemicals team, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, and chemical product governance across global operations. Depending on your level of experience, you will manage strategic initiatives, lead compliance projects, or support operational activities related to customs classification, chemical compliance, regulatory requirements, and process improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting customs classification and product classification activities for chemical and non-chemical materials.
  • Ensuring compliance with global customs regulations, trade laws, and chemical regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with business units, supply chain teams, product stewardship, and international stakeholders to resolve customs and compliance-related matters.
  • Maintaining and managing customs and product master data within global systems and databases.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and implementing updates to ensure ongoing compliance across global operations.
  • Providing guidance on customs classification, duty implications, tariff regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
  • Supporting customs audits, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting activities.
  • Preparing operational reports, KPI dashboards, data analysis, and management reporting.
  • Managing service mailboxes, document repositories, and compliance records while ensuring adherence to governance requirements.
  • Supporting process standardisation, digitalisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participating in system upgrades, testing activities, and enhancements related to customs and chemical compliance processes.
  • Delivering training, guidance, and consulting support to stakeholders across global business functions.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in customs, trade compliance, chemical product compliance, product stewardship, regulatory affairs, or international supply chain operations.
  • Executive-level candidates may possess 1-3 years of relevant experience, while Senior Executive and Managerial candidates should demonstrate progressively deeper expertise and leadership capabilities.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, trade compliance, and chemical product governance.
  • Experience supporting compliance reviews, audits, documentation management, and regulatory reporting.
  • Familiarity with supply chain, international logistics, and global trade processes.
  • Experience with SAP, SAP GTS, ERP platforms, or compliance management systems would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams and cultures.
  • Fluency in English; additional language capabilities will be considered an advantage.
