Responsible for operating casino table games professionally while maintaining accurate transactions, game security and excellent guest service.

Work aboard an American freestyle cruise line operating global itineraries across Alaska, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and other international destinations. Ship assignments and itineraries are determined by operational requirements.

• Open to Malaysian and Singaporean applicants only.

• Must be available for full-time shipboard employment.

• At least one year of experience dealing three or more of the following games is required: Blackjack, Roulette, Let It Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker, Three Card Poker, Baccarat, Pai Gow Tiles, Pai Gow Poker or Texas Hold’em.

• A minimum of two years of overall casino dealing experience is preferred.

• Previous shipboard experience is not required.

• A current gaming licence is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• An associate degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Intermediate to advanced spoken and written English is required.

• Intermediate to advanced typing and computer skills are required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Fidelio Cruise and Micros.

• Must be outgoing, dependable and comfortable interacting directly with guests.

• Able to work seven days a week according to the shipboard schedule.

• Comfortable living and working in a multicultural environment and sharing limited accommodation space.

• Successful candidates may be offered a position one or two ranks below their current land-based role, depending on their experience, interview performance and the cruise line’s assessment.

• Monthly salary: USD 1,950.00

• Contract duration: 36 weeks onboard, followed by approximately 9 weeks off.

• Deal casino table games according to established rules, policies and procedures.

• Ensure all bets and payments comply with the applicable game rules and limits.

• Exchange guests’ currency for casino chips accurately.

• Explain game rules to guests and enforce them professionally.

• Protect the integrity of each game and safeguard company assets.

• Identify and report suspicious behaviour or possible fraudulent activity.

• Verify bankrolls and credits together with the Casino Supervisor.

• Ensure casino equipment is handled correctly and report any damage or loss.

• Assist guests with questions regarding casino operations and activities.

• Maintain professional guest service, appearance and communication standards.

• Follow all casino security, safety and environmental protection procedures.

• Perform other operational duties assigned by the Casino Supervisor.
