Role Description
The Commercial Executive is responsible for supporting and growing commercial activities across ARIES Shipping & Renewable services. This full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur City involves managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations and commercial proposals, and following up on leads and opportunities. The role includes coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate service information, maintaining client records, and tracking contractual and pricing details. The Commercial Executive will monitor market trends, assist in contract negotiation, and help maintain strong relationships with customers and partners. The position also requires preparing regular sales and activity reports, contributing to commercial strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial and commercial management skills, including experience with pricing, proposals, and contract terms.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in following up on leads, quotations, and outstanding issues to drive closure and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Basic knowledge of maritime services or logistics; exposure to renewable energy sectors is an advantage.
• Comfort with using office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) for reporting and record-keeping.
• Relevant diploma or degree in business, commerce, logistics, maritime studies, or a related field preferred.
