Role Description

The Banking Associate / Banking Officer / Banking Executive supports customer service, transaction processing, and daily banking activities within an assigned team. Responsibilities include handling enquiries, checking documentation, maintaining records, processing authorised requests, and escalating exceptions.

The Associate assists customers and completes routine tasks under supervision. The Officer manages assigned transactions, account services, or operational checks, while the Executive coordinates service activities, resolves more complex enquiries, and monitors completion against agreed procedures and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Relevant experience or internships in banking, financial services, customer service, or administration.
• Understanding of banking products, account services, transaction processes, and basic financial concepts.
• Ability to verify information, maintain accurate records, and identify discrepancies.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills for explaining processes clearly.
• Proficiency in office applications and ability to learn banking systems.
• Sound judgement, confidentiality, and awareness of fraud prevention and escalation procedures.
• For associate positions, ability to follow instructions, support enquiries, and complete routine processing accurately.
• For officer positions, experience handling assigned transactions, documentation checks, and exceptions within delegated authority.
• For executive positions, experience coordinating requests, resolving service issues, and supporting process improvements.
