Full Time QAQC Supervisor Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,500 in Mega City Builder Sabah - Maukerja

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and experienced QA/QC Supervisor to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a contract position, this is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional to play a key role in ensuring construction works meet the required quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant industry standards.
• Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure all construction works meet the required quality standards.
• Reviewing construction drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and other quality-related documents.
• Coordinating and witnessing inspections and testing of construction materials and workmanship in accordance with project requirements.
• Identifying, documenting, and following up on non-conformances (NCRs), defects, and quality issues, while recommending and monitoring corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaising with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to coordinate quality-related activities.
• Maintaining accurate QA/QC records, inspection reports, test results, material approvals, and quality documentation.
• Ensuring construction activities comply with approved quality plans, project requirements, and applicable standards.
• Monitoring subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality procedures.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures, construction standards, material testing, and inspection requirements.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Experience in preparing inspection reports, managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Proficient in using QA/QC documentation systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant quality management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach.
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant industry standards would be an added advantage.
