We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Video Editor to review AI-generated short-form video clips extracted from full-length programmes. Key responsibilities:-

  • Review AI-generated short-form video clips extracted from full-length programmes and assess their suitability for publication.
  • Evaluate each clip for coherence, standalone context, and audience engagement, ensuring it meets the required editorial standards.
  • Adjust clip start and end points to improve transitions and ensure clean, well-timed cuts.
  • Refine video framing through basic cropping and zoom adjustments to meet the required aspect ratios, primarily 16:9 and secondarily 9:16.
  • Approve and score clips that meet the required standards, reject unsuitable clips with clear reasons, or make necessary corrections before approval.
  • Follow the established editorial guidelines, quality standards, and rejection criteria consistently.
  • Work closely with team leads and follow quality feedback to ensure accuracy and consistency in deliverables.

Skills and experience required:-

  • Demonstrable experience in short-form video editing, including trimming clips, adjusting in and out points, and basic cropping, zooming, and reframing across different aspect ratios.
  • Strong English listening comprehension, with the ability to follow dialogue and assess whether video clips are coherent and understandable. Translation or subtitling experience is not required.
  • Good editorial judgement and an eye for identifying engaging clips that are suitable for standalone viewing.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply written guidelines and evaluation criteria consistently.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, repetitive, and productivity-driven environment where handling time and quality are measured.
  • Willingness to work a fixed shift pattern and maintain reliable attendance.
  • Working familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar apps.
