Your impact

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Modeler/ Designer (Revit to support the delivery of data center and complex building projects. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining high-quality electrical BIM models while working closely with multidisciplinary design teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Revit expertise, a solid understanding of electrical building services, and experience working within BIM project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed Revit models for electrical systems, including:
    • Power distribution
    • Cable containment systems
    • Lighting systems
    • Earthing systems
    • Low-voltage services
  • Produce BIM deliverables in accordance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and company standards.
  • Populate and maintain model data, parameters, and project information to support design coordination and documentation.
  • Generate drawings, schedules, and model outputs for design reviews and project submissions.
  • Update BIM models based on engineering mark-ups, design revisions, and coordination feedback.
  • Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, mechanical, and ICT disciplines.
  • Participate in clash detection and BIM coordination activities using approved project tools.
  • Assist in resolving routine modelling and coordination issues.
  • Support project teams throughout the design, coordination, and construction phases.
Here's what you'll need
  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Drafting, or a related electrical discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Electrical BIM Modelling.
  • Proven experience using Autodesk Revit for electrical building services projects.
  • Experience developing and maintaining BIM models for building, infrastructure, data center, or mission-critical projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of electrical building services systems, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards, workflows, and multidisciplinary coordination processes.
  • Working knowledge of Navisworks or similar model coordination software.
  • Experience working within a Common Data Environment (CDE) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of local and international electrical standards, codes, and drafting practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to work in a team environment.
