Full Time Java Developer (1 year contract - Renewable) Jobs, in Techstreet Malaysia Federal Territory - Maukerja

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot, hands-on experience with databases, and a solid understanding of microservices architecture and API development.

Responsibilities

*Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Java EE.

* Develop and implement scalable applications based on microservices architecture.

* Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs, web services, and JSON-based data exchanges.

* Work with MongoDB, Oracle Database, and Microsoft SQL Server to manage and optimise data storage and retrieval.

* Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.

* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure system stability and performance.

* Participate in code reviews, software testing, and continuous improvement of development practices.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and other developers, to deliver quality software solutions.

* Prepare and maintain technical documentation in accordance with project standards.

* Manage assigned tasks, prioritise workloads, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Requirements

*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Java application development.

* Strong hands-on programming experience in Java and Spring Boot (mandatory).

* Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Java EE.

* Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architecture.

* Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Oracle Database, and Microsoft SQL Server.

* Good understanding of JSON, RESTful APIs, and web services.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills.

* Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

* Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
