Role Description The Freelance Camera Operator will be responsible for capturing high-quality live and recorded footage of sports events for USL TV’s broadcasts and digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating cameras on-site, coordinating with the production team, monitoring framing and focus, and adjusting to fast-paced, live sports action. The role also involves collaborating with lighting and production staff to ensure consistent visual quality, following technical and creative guidelines, and maintaining equipment in good working condition. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

- Knowledge of TV production environments, working effectively with directors, producers, and technical crews.
- Understanding of basic lighting principles for indoor and outdoor sports events.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, live sports settings and adapt quickly to changing conditions.
- Prior experience in sports broadcasting or live event coverage is highly beneficial.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
