Full Time Finance Analyst Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,500 in IND Technology Pty Ltd Federal Territory - Maukerja

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Analyst to join our finance team. This role will support the Financial Controller in managing day-to-day financial operations, with a key focus on expense monitoring, identifying spending trends and cost drivers, managing expense claims, as well as supporting SaaS subscription billing and revenue reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, inquisitive and the ability to provide meaningful financial insights to support cost optimisation and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Expense Monitoring & Cost Analysis

· Monitor and analyse operating expenses across departments and cost categories.

· Perform monthly expense analysis to identify spending trends, significant variances, unusual fluctuations, and key cost drivers.

· Conduct detailed analysis of travel and marketing expenses to assess spending patterns, budget utilisation, and cost efficiency.

· Track and analyse tariffs, freight and logistics costs, including shipment-related expenses, freight rates, and cost fluctuations.

· Track and analyse direct and indirect costs, identify usage trends and cost drivers, and highlight potential cost optimisation opportunities.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to improve cost efficiency.

2. Expense Claims Management

· Review and approve employee expense claims in accordance with company policies and approval limits.

· Ensure claims are properly supported, accurately classified, and compliant with internal guidelines.

· Follow up on discrepancies and maintain accurate expense claim records.

· Perform bank reconciliations over e-wallet related expenses

3. Software Revenue & Billing Management

· Support software subscription billing and related administrative processes.

· Maintain accurate billing records and monitor subscription renewals.

· Assist with revenue reconciliation and reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.

4. Financial Reporting & Process Improvement

· Prepare monthly expense reports, cost analysis, and financial schedules for management review.

· Develop and maintain cost tracking reports for key expense categories.

· Identify opportunities to improve cost visibility, reporting accuracy, internal control and financial processes.

· Support ad hoc financial analysis and other finance-related assignments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA is a plus
• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting, rev ops or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP/accounting software and data visualisation software such as Power BI is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders and external customers.
