Job Description

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in wine, spirits, FMCG or beverage distribution.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of retail, wholesale and HORECA distribution channels.
  • Able to work independently and manage a sales team.
  • Must possess own transport and a valid driving licence.
  • Existing customer network in the wine or beverage industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  

  • Must achieve monthly sales targets set by management.
  • Responsible for driving consistent monthly sales growth.
  • Monitor individual and team sales performance.
  • Develop new customers and increase orders from existing accounts.
  • Performance will be reviewed monthly based on sales achievement, customer development and payment collections.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Manage and lead the sales team to improve sales performance.
  • Expand distribution channels, including supermarkets, wine shops, restaurants, hotels and bars.
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Manage existing customers and increase sales volume.
  • Monitor sales performance, customer collections and outstanding payments.
  • Conduct regular market visits and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Coordinate with management, marketing and operations teams.
  • Ensure sales targets and company profitability objectives are achieved.
