Key Responsibilities
Assist the Supervisor and Cooks in preparing and serving quality meals
Prepare and cook rice, porridge and desserts according to the menu
Prepare meat, fish, vegetables and fruits for cooking
Mince, blend or puree food for residents with special dietary requirements
Receive, sort and store food ingredients and kitchen supplies
Prepare, load and clean food trays, equipment and service trolleys
Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Dispose of kitchen waste properly
Assist with stock receiving and checking of kitchen equipment and fittings
Carry out other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management
Requirements
1 year of cooking / kitchen experience, preferably in a restaurant, hawker center or similar environment
Food Hygiene Certificate (NEA)
Willing to learn and develop new cooking skills
Responsible, hardworking and a good team player
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Working Hours
Rotating shifts:
D0: 5:00am – 1:00pm
D1: 5:30am – 1:30pm
D2+: 8:15am – 4:15pm
E1: 10:45am – 6:45pm
️ Important: The role involves early morning shifts starting as early as 5:00am. No transportation is provided, so candidates must be able to arrange their own transport to report for early shifts.
