Position: Packing Supervisor
Salary: RM2,600 – RM2,800
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: No. 40-2, Jalan Eco Grandeur 1/3B, Eco Grandeur, 42300 Puncak Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

Note: Extended working hours or overtime may be required on certain days of the month when order volumes are high.

Job Description

RedRadar International is hiring on behalf of our client for a Packing Supervisor to oversee daily packing operations and ensure orders are packed accurately, efficiently, and within the required timelines.

The successful candidate will supervise packing staff, monitor productivity, ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues. This role is suitable for someone with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills who can manage manpower and maintain packing quality during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Packing Operations

• Supervise and monitor daily packing activities to ensure smooth operations.

• Allocate tasks based on workload, order volume, and manpower availability.

• Ensure all orders are packed and completed within the required timelines.

2. Productivity Monitoring

• Monitor team output, work progress, and daily packing performance.

• Identify delays, workflow bottlenecks, and manpower shortages.

• Take appropriate action to improve workflow efficiency and overall productivity.

3. Packing Accuracy & Quality Control

• Ensure the correct products, quantities, and packaging materials are used for each order.

• Monitor packing errors and implement measures to reduce recurring mistakes.

• Conduct basic quality checks to ensure packing standards and requirements are followed.

4. Packing Staff Management

• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and daily work discipline.

• Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to packing staff.

• Address minor work-related issues and escalate serious matters to management or HR when necessary.

5. SOP Compliance

• Ensure all packing staff follow the required standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Guide and train new employees on proper packing processes and work standards.

• Identify gaps or weaknesses in existing procedures and recommend improvements.

6. Reporting & Coordination

• Report daily operational issues, order backlogs, significant packing errors, and other concerns to management.

• Coordinate with the Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

• Recommend practical improvements to packing processes, productivity, and operational efficiency.
