Position: Graduate Research Assistant
Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Principal Investigator and research team in coordinating and implementing the research project according to the approved protocol and timeline.
• Assist with clinical data collection, data entry, data verification and management of vancomycin therapeutic drug monitoring data, subject to research ethics approval and applicable confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with the research team in developing, testing and validating the CDSS prototype, including verification of calculations and clinical decision-support outputs.
• Assist in preparing research progress reports, presentations, manuscripts and other research outputs required by the grant.
• Perform other research-related duties assigned by the Principal Investigator that are relevant to the approved project.

Job Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in, or eligible to enrol in, a relevant Master’s programme or PhD at QIU.
• A background in pharmacy, clinical pharmacy is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacokinetics, clinical research methodology and therapeutic drug monitoring is desirable.
• Basic skills in statistical analysis and data management using SPSS, R, Excel or equivalent software are an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and willingness to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary researchers.
• Demonstrated commitment to research integrity, patient confidentiality and compliance with research ethics requirements.
