Full Time Global Tax Lead (Gaming Industry) Jobs, in Dada Consultants - Maukerja

About the role

Our client is hiring its first dedicated Tax Lead to own the tax function globally. You will be hands-on at the start, working alongside external advisors. As the function matures, you will design the operating model and decide what to keep in-house and what to outsource.

Key responsibilities

• Own Singapore corporate income tax and GST compliance and advisory, including ECI and Form C filings, tax provisions and IRAS correspondence
• Lead global indirect tax compliance (VAT, GST, sales tax) for cross-border digital services across the EU, UK, US, Japan, Korea, Australia and other markets
• Advise on cross-border direct tax matters: PE risk, withholding tax, transfer pricing, digital services taxes and Pillar Two
• Build scalable compliance processes and controls, and manage external advisors and outsourced providers
• Be the tax voice to management, turning technical issues into clear business recommendations
• Partner with Finance, Legal and HR, and manage tax inquiries and audits globally

Requirements

• 8+ years of tax experience, with solid knowledge of Singapore corporate income tax and GST
• Hands-on experience with cross-border indirect tax for digital services, e-commerce or online platforms
• CPA, CA, ACCA, CTA, Singapore Chartered Tax Professional or equivalent
• Hands-on working style, sound independent judgment, and the ability to explain tax matters in plain business language

Nice to have

• Big 4 tax background combined with in-house experience
• Experience in gaming, apps or digital platforms, including app store and marketplace-facilitator tax rules
• Pillar Two experience and tax technology exposure (e.g. Avalara, Vertex)
• Experience building a tax function from scratch
