Job Summary

This role requires strong customer service, commercial, and technical skills to engage clients on engineering and commercial matters. You will review specifications, prepare technical documentation, generate quotations, manage tender budgets, and oversee sales order technical and planning elements.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret technical and commercial enquiries during pre-quote and order acceptance stages to ensure accurate understanding of customer needs
• Develop, review, and modify commercial and technical documentation to create tenders and manage clarifications and orders effectively
• Utilize proprietary equipment selection tools to identify and recommend optimal pump solutions tailored to diverse customer applications
• Prepare and submit complex tender documents aligned with client specifications and expectations to support successful bids
• Enter and manage sales orders accurately through internal CRM and ERP systems to maintain order integrity
• Communicate proactively and clearly with customers and sales representatives to coordinate requirements and resolve issues
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and complaints to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with sales teams, engineering, operations, and other departments to ensure customer requirements are met with precision and efficiency
• Undertake additional relevant duties as required to support team and business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Technical qualification in engineering or related field (implied by "Technical Qualification" and degree requirement)
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation, technical drawings, and specifications

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Process, or related field)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in applications engineering or technical sales role
