Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Operations Assistant
with experience in freight forwarding and logistics to support our daily air and sea freight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and handle Air and Sea freight shipments for both imports and exports.
Prepare and process shipping documentation, customs clearance and shipment arrangements.
Liaise with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines and transport providers.
Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.
Handle customer enquiries and provide shipment updates.
Requirements:
Relevant working experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations.
Good knowledge and understanding of
Incoterms
and international shipping procedures.
Hands-on experience in
Air and Sea Import/Export operations
.
Good command of
written and spoken English
.
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, work independently and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Candidate:
A responsible, proactive team player with a customer-service mindset and the ability to manage shipments efficiently from origin to destination.
