Full Time Readymix Concrete QA/QC Manager Jobs, Salary up to MYR 7,500 in NCI Concrete Industries Sdn. Bhd. Kedah - Maukerja

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Concrete Technology or a related field.

Candidates who possess a valid Malaysian driving license will be given preference.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ready-mixed concrete, concrete batching plant, precast concrete or construction materials.

At least 2 years of supervisory or team management experience is preferred.

Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, raw materials, admixtures and concrete testing procedures.

Familiar with MS EN 206, applicable JKR specifications and relevant ASTM or BS testing standards.

Able to analyses concrete test results and independently resolve technical and quality issues.

Experience in high-strength concrete, self-compacting concrete, pump concrete or specialized mix designs will be an advantage.

Able to prepare professional technical reports, mix design submissions and quality records.

Good leadership, communication, problem-solving and customer-handling skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and relevant laboratory or quality documentation systems.

Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Mandarin proficiency will be an advantage, as the position may communicate with the company’s China-based corporate shareholder and review related technical documents.

Willing to travel to project sites and attend concrete pours when required.

Develop, review and optimize concrete mix designs according to customer requirements, project specifications and applicable standards.

Conduct and supervise laboratory trial mixes and plant trial batches before commercial production.

Ensure ready-mixed concrete production complies with MS EN 206, applicable JKR specifications, customer requirements and other relevant standards.

Monitor the quality and consistency of cement, aggregates, water, admixtures and other raw materials.

Establish incoming material inspection, sampling, testing and acceptance procedures.

Supervise slump tests, concrete sampling, cube preparation, curing and compressive strength testing.

Review concrete test results and identify any strength, workability or consistency issues.

Monitor batching accuracy, moisture correction, admixture dosage and production parameters.

Ensure batching plant weighing systems and laboratory equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.

Investigate non-conforming concrete, rejected loads and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Provide technical support to customers, consultants, contractors, batching plant operators and the sales team.

Attend customer meetings, trial pours and site inspections when required.

Prepare and maintain mix design reports, trial mix reports, cube test records, calibration certificates and other QA/QC documentation.

Prepare technical submissions and supporting documents for customer or consultant approval.

Supervise and train Laboratory Technicians and Site QA/QC Technicians.

Work closely with the Plant Manager, Production Supervisor, Batching Plant Operator and Sales Department to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Optimize concrete mix costs without compromising quality, strength, durability or compliance.

Assist management in establishing and continuously improving the company’s quality management system.

Ensure laboratory and testing activities are conducted safely and in accordance with company procedures.

Perform other technical and quality-related duties assigned by management.
