Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in catering or institutional food service.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation.

Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution.

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to standards.

Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high quality and consistency.

Manage inventory, stock rotation, and ordering of ingredients to minimize waste and control costs.

Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Contribute to maintaining kitchen equipment and ensuring a safe working environment.
