Is this your next challenge as Business Solution Manager?


We are seeking a Business Solutions Process Manager to lead the business transformation and implementation of AI-enabled demand forecasting and planning solutions. The role will provide end-to-end leadership across business process design, solution delivery, adoption and value realisation, while managing senior business stakeholders, technology teams and external solution partners.


Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI demand forecasting and planning capabilities across the retail supply chain. The role will translate business strategy into practical process and technology solutions, establish robust delivery governance, and drive adoption across markets and functions. Have strong forecasting and planning acumen, demonstrate transformation leadership and the managerial calibre to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.


The challenge is to:


Transformation and Project Management

  • Own and support the delivery of AI demand forecasting and planning implementation projects through discovery, design, testing, deployment and stabilisation activities.
  • In charge of project planning, milestone tracking, governance and reporting activities.
  • Coordinate activities across business, technology, data and vendor teams to support successful delivery.
  • Identify project risks, issues and dependencies and support mitigation and resolution activities.
  • Assist with scope management, change requests and project documentation.


Business process and operating model design

  • Support the assessment of current forecasting and planning processes and contribute to future-state process design.
  • Work with business users and subject matter experts to document requirements, processes, roles, controls and performance measures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardise and simplify planning processes.
  • Assist in developing process documentation, operating procedures and governance standards.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving forecast accuracy, product availability and planner productivity.


AI solution, data and implementation oversight

  • Gather and document business requirements, user stories, process rules and acceptance criteria.
  • Support solution design workshops and ensure business requirements are clearly understood by delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with data and technology teams to support data readiness, integration and testing activities.
  • Participate in fit-gap assessments, testing activities, defect management, cutover planning and go-live preparation.
  • Monitor solution performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Stakeholder, vendor and commercial management

  • Build effective working relationships with business, supply chain, technology, data and vendor teams.
  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day coordination with implementation partners and software vendors.
  • Support governance meetings, issue management and delivery tracking activities.
  • Communicate project updates and business requirements clearly to stakeholders.
  • Assist in resolving project challenges and managing competing priorities.


Change, adoption and value realisation

  • Support change management, communication, training and user adoption activities.
  • Coordinate business engagement sessions, training workshops and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Assist with tracking adoption metrics, solution performance and benefits realisation.
  • Support transition activities from implementation to business-as-usual operations.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing enhancement and process improvement



Do you have experience in?


  • Experience supporting business transformation, process improvement or solution implementation projects in demand forecasting, replenishment, merchandise planning, supply planning or a related area.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements, support testing and coordinate implementation activities.
  • Good understanding of forecasting and planning concepts, including demand drivers, promotions, forecast performance and inventory management.
  • Experience working with software vendors, implementation partners or cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Good project coordination and organisational skills, including planning, issue tracking and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on practical business outcomes.
  • Degree qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Technology, Engineering, Analytics or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
