Full Time General Counsel (10 to 15 PQE) - Private Equity Firm Jobs, in Space Executive - Maukerja

An exciting opportunity for an experienced PE/M&A lawyer to join a private equity firm as General Counsel. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and investment professionals, providing legal advice across investment activities and broader business matters, including ESG.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead legal support for investments, acquisitions, disposals and other corporate transactions.
• Advise on transaction structuring, due diligence, negotiations and execution.
• Partner with investment teams to assess legal risks and provide commercially practical advice.
• Oversee external counsel and coordinate legal work across transactions.
• Advise on corporate governance and general legal matters affecting the firm.

Requirements

• Approximately 10–15 years’ PQE, with strong private equity and M&A experience.
• Training and experience gained with a top-tier law firm.
• Strong technical skills, commercial judgement and the confidence to work independently with senior stakeholders.
• Relevant in-house experience would be highly regarded, although candidates moving directly from private practice are welcome.
• Prior management experience is not required.
