• Diploma or Degree in Halal Management, Food Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• Experience in halal compliance, certification procedures or F&B procurement is preferred.

• Knowledge of Malaysian halal certification requirements and relevant food safety standards.

• Good communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory management.

• Able to coordinate effectively with multiple restaurant outlets, Central Kitchen teams and suppliers.

• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.

• Prior experience in a multi-outlet restaurant or F&B environment is an advantage.

1. Halal Compliance & Certification

• Manage and coordinate halal certification applications, renewals and related documentation with JAKIM or the relevant halal authorities.

• Ensure restaurant outlets and the Central Kitchen comply with applicable halal certification requirements and standards.

• Maintain halal documentation, including supplier halal certificates, ingredient lists, product specifications and supporting records.

• Monitor the validity of halal certificates for ingredients, raw materials and suppliers.

• Liaise with halal authorities, consultants and relevant departments regarding halal certification and compliance matters.

• Conduct internal halal inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established procedures.

• Coordinate halal awareness and training programmes for relevant employees.

• Identify and report halal compliance issues and coordinate corrective actions.

• Maintain proper records and documentation for operational and halal compliance purposes.
  

2. Procurement & Inventory Management

• Manage daily purchasing for restaurant outlets and the Central Kitchen, including ingredients, packaging, equipment and operational supplies.

• Source suppliers, compare quotations, negotiate pricing and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

• Coordinate deliveries and follow up with suppliers.

• Ensure purchased products meet company requirements and halal standards.

• Coordinate stock requests, transfers and deliveries between the Central Kitchen and restaurant outlets.

• Update and monitor monthly inventory stock count, stock movements and product expiry dates.

• Coordinate regular stock counts and month-end stock reconciliation with Central Kitchen & Restaurants

• Maintain accurate inventory and stock transfer records.
