About the role

We are seeking a skilled Shipping Coordinator to join our team at C P World Pte Ltd, a leading freight and cargo forwarding company located in the Bukit Merah Central Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the shipping process, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaising with clients to gather shipping requirements and arrange for the necessary transportation and logistics
2. Coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to book shipments and track deliveries
3. Preparing and processing shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and Tradenet (customs clearance)
4. Monitoring shipments and providing regular updates to clients on the status of their orders
5. Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the shipping process and implementing solutions to ensure on-time delivery
6. Maintaining accurate records and databases of all shipping activities
7. Collaborating with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics coordination role
2. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and logistics partners
4. Proficient in using shipping and logistics software, as well as Microsoft Office applications
5. Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
6. A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset
