Job Summary
Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic tests to assess patients’ eye health, provide professional advice, and maintain accurate patient records while ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Responsibilities
Perform refraction, diagnostic eye tests, and full general eye checks to assess patients’ vision and eye health
Operate diagnostic equipment accurately to support eye examinations and diagnoses
Communicate effectively with patients to collect detailed case histories for accurate assessment
Provide professional advice and tailored solutions to customers based on diagnostic results
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records to track eye health and treatment history
Ensure all eye care equipment and measuring devices are regularly maintained and in good working condition
Required competencies and certifications
Possess at least a Diploma in Optometry
Eligible for registration or registered with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
At least 1 year of working experience in a related field
