ENGINEERING DRAFTSPERSON

Industry: Pressure Vessel & Road Tanker Manufacturing

We are looking for a skilled and motivated 3D Draftsperson to join our team in the design and manufacturing of pressure vessels, road tankers, and other industrial equipment.

Candidate should have good technical drawing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate engineering designs into accurate 3D models and manufacturing drawings.

Job Responsibilities

* Prepare 3D models, fabrication drawings, and detailed engineering drawings for pressure vessels, road tankers, and related equipment.

* Produce 2D technical drawings, assembly drawings, and workshop fabrication drawings from 3D models.

* Prepare material cutting lists, Bill of Materials (BOM), and other production documentation.

* Interpret engineering specifications, design calculations, and customer requirements.

* Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality control teams to ensure drawings meet manufacturing requirements.

* Revise drawings according to engineering changes and customer feedback.

* Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and project specifications.

* Assist the production team in resolving technical drawing and fabrication issues.

Job Requirements

* Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, CAD Design, or a related field.

* Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or equivalent.

* Experience in mechanical drafting, fabrication drawings, or industrial equipment design is an advantage.

* Knowledge of sheet metal development, structural steel fabrication, piping layouts, and mechanical components is an added advantage.

* Familiarity with pressure vessel and road tanker construction is an advantage.

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

* Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.

* Fresh graduates with relevant CAD skills are encouraged to apply.
