Full Time Supervisor (EPCC) Jobs, in Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems Asia Selangor - Maukerja

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Possession of a PW4 Wireman Competency Certificate or Chargeman (AO/A1) certification is an added advantage.

• 3-5 years of experience in a Medium Voltage (MV) environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

• Sound knowledge of TNB substation requirements, wiring standards, testing, and commissioning procedures.

• Proficient in reading schematic diagrams and understanding SCADA communication systems.

• Experience in the installation and wiring of TAMCO, EPE, or Toshiba switchgear is an added advantage.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Willing to be stationed at project sites (2 weeks to 2 months) and travel as required.

1. Site Management & Project Oversight

• Manage the daily deployment of Technicians and Wiremen to meet project milestones set by the Project Engineer.

• Consolidate daily logs from site teams and provide comprehensive weekly progress reports, highlighting potential delays or technical bottlenecks.

• Oversee the inventory of specialized tools and materials (cables, lugs, ferrules) to ensure zero downtime due to supply shortages.

2. Advanced Quality Assurance (QA)

• Conduct final checks & audits of modifications and schematic updates

• Ensure all wiring and terminations meet the specific customer (eg. TNB) wiring needs and also meeting the design philosophies for Toshiba switchgears.

• Act as the first point of escalation for complex technical discrepancies between physical site conditions and engineering drawings.

3. Safety Leadership & Compliance

• Take full accountability for site safety; ensure the team strictly adheres to HIRARC, TNB NIOSH, and PTW (Permit to Work) systems.

• Lead daily Tool-Box Talks and conduct regular site inspections to ensure MV rooms remain "Dust-Free" and equipment remains uncontaminated.

4. Team Mentorship & Development

• Supervise the skill transfer from Technicians to Wiremen, ensuring the entire team maintains a high standard of workmanship.

• Evaluate the competency of subordinates, identifying top performers for progression from Wireman to Technician.
