Full Time Assistant Engineer (Radio Systems) | Up to $7,000 Jobs, Salary up to SGD 4,500 in MERRIES EMPLOYMENT LLP Islandwide (Singapore) - Maukerja

Our client is looking for an Assistant Engineer to carry out radio system configuration, installation supervision, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning. Maintain accurate technical records and complete assigned radio site activities according to the agreed schedule.

Reporting Line: Designated Project Supervisor

Work Location: Ang Mo Kio

Responsibilities:

• Carry out radio system configuration, installation supervision, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate technical records and complete assigned radio site activities according to the agreed schedule.
• Work independently and with the project team to meet testing and commissioning schedules.
• Resolve problems proactively and escalate unresolved issues.
• Record test results and report progress in the prescribed format.
• Carry out equipment and cable labelling, and routine preventive and corrective maintenance for radio systems.
• Update single-line diagrams, cable routes, termination lists and system drawings for submission.
• Follow site safety requirements and perform related duties within the assigned system scope, training and authorisation.
• Perform basic radio network configuration, wiring terminations and Main Distribution Frame (MDF) terminations.
• Carry out basic radio system troubleshooting and supervise radio installation works.
• Test and commission radio systems in accordance with test procedures and prepare documentation for submission.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics or an equivalent ITE qualification relevant to the role.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience and working knowledge of radio systems.
• Working knowledge of radio equipment, basic network configuration, wiring and MDF terminations, and fault finding.
• Able to understand and communicate in English to follow technical procedures, coordinate work and report progress.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and follow testing and commissioning procedures.
