Full Time Commis Chef Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in Venus Gourmet WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

Possess a Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.

Have 1-2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar culinary role.

Demonstrate culinary expertise with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.

Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas and recipes.

Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Assist in managing and training junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Assist in inventory control, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste.

Communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to facilitate smooth kitchen operations and team coordination.

Assisting the CDP to ensure that the designated station is properly setup and operating as schedule,

Preparing all food items in designated station, ensuring the right quantity and full adherence to Nobu recipes and standards in food quality,

Effectively dealing with any operational issues that may arise ensuring standards are not affected,

Ensuring the highest standards of production by carrying out “spot checks” of portions and presentation of all food items, taking corrective action when needed,

Minimizing food waste by properly storing unused foods,

Assisting in other stations, sections or outlets if requested by supervisor,

Guaranteeing safety, hygiene and sanitation practices are present at all times, safe storing of raw materials, maintaining cleanliness of all areas, etc,

Receiving items and ensuring proper storage until needed,

Assuring the adherence to Health and Safety guidelines in terms of food quality, preparation recipes, presentation at all times,

Maintaining all station’s equipment in safe working condition
