Job Description

Responsibilities

We build AI driven operating systems for energy and infrastructure companies. We are hiring three people in Singapore.

Why Tegro

•   We build the future. We focus on cutting edge industries that will define the future - from next generation nuclear power, to creating AI first businesses, our work is exciting and innovative.

•   You build and deploy. We are a small team on the frontline - your work will go live with clients within days of starting.

•   The whole arc. You will learn how infrastructure businesses work end to end.

•   Direct access, limited bureaucracy. We focus on outcomes and delivery, you will work directly with experienced industry professionals on real projects.

•   AI, every day. You work at the leading edge, in industries where few people are applying AI yet. Part of your role will be defining how we expand our frontier.

•   Potential for growth. We are growing fast and offer rapid advancement and extensive learning

About Tegro

Tegro provides deep commercial and technical support to capital-intensive operators in energy, industrial, logistics and digital infrastructure. Our work spans strategy, finance, capital raising and investment, sales, growth and market intelligence, project development, engineering and asset operations.

Our current focus is next generation nuclear, and adjacent industries - data centres, logistics networks, and energy grids. We are headquartered in Singapore but work globally, our primary activity is in USA and Asia Pacific. We work alongside the next generation of unicorn startups and their investors.

AI-first

Tegro works in Claude and other frontier AI systems as the primary way our work gets done. We are looking for people obsessed with using, building and testing these tools. We want to know what your experience has been with making models fail, what context costs at volume, what it takes to get from demo to production, and how you validate output you cannot fully verify yourself.

The roles

Full-Stack Software Engineer

~3–6 years experience

You will be our first dedicated engineer. You will design, build, deploy and run every digital surface Tegro has. Your core role is to build the underlying infrastructure that enables our commercial teams to deliver reliably at speed.

What you’ll build

•   Datarooms and digital systems that are structured, queryable and live

•   The data spine: client systems, operational data, market intel, tools and apps

•   Project assessment and asset operations tooling for our team and our clients

•   An AI layer doing real work — retrieval, extraction and agents inside live workflows — with evaluation and cost control

•   Underlying infrastructure: cloud, auth, CI/CD, monitoring and security

You bring

  • 3–6 years building and shipping production software, including systems you owned end to end, from design to live users.
  • Full-stack depth: modern front-end frameworks, backend services and APIs, relational data modelling and SQL. You can provision, secure and deploy your own cloud infrastructure, with CI/CD and monitoring.
  • AI first engineering: you use agentic coding tools daily to speed up delivery. You build LLM capability into products, including retrieval, structured extraction, tool-calling agents and evaluation, and you understand cost, latency and failure modes in production.
  • Clear views on information architecture and data design, a bias to action, and a habit of shipping fast in small iterations. You have the confidence to shape how we design, build and deliver for our clients

Data Analyst

~1-4 years

You will build the data spine that multiple businesses run on: structured datasets, clean lineage, audit trail and real-time flow from source systems to the screen where decisions get made.

What you’ll do

•   Design the shape of the data — schema, entities, transformation logic, internal tagging and hierarchies

•   Build end-to-end spines for client engagements: operational, asset and financial data, ingested, structured and served

•   Run real-time and scheduled flows, with testing, reconciliation and alerts

•   Build the interfaces people use every day, and refine them alongside the users

•   Answer hard questions with data: asset performance, unit economics, project throughput

You bring

•   1–4 years experience, graduate in a quantitative discipline.

•   Experience with data storage and structure, data transformation, coding in live environments and building to data security requirements

•   Passionate about creating data flows, and usable tools and a fascination with AI, automation and generating insights.

Investment Analyst

Junior role or internship

You will support the analysis behind project economics, business plans, feasibility, pricing and investment cases — and put it in front of the people who act on it. You will manage financial models and decision inputs, using AI in the loop, and ensuring delivery through datarooms and live interfaces that clients and counterparties can interrogate directly.

What you’ll do

•   Build and maintain financial models: project and asset economics, business plans, feasibility, pricing and investment cases across energy, industrial, logistics and digital infrastructure

•   Run the scenarios and outputs, respond to investor queries.

•   Keep the model library disciplined: consistent structure, documented assumptions, versioning, checks

•   Work with our engineer to deliver analysis through datarooms and interactive tools

•   Write investment papers, client memoranda and pitch information

•   Support live transactions, diligence and advisory mandates

You bring

•   0–2 years experience, or a student in finance, economics, engineering, accounting or similar. Some prior experience in an investment or advisory firm is valuable.

•   Strong financial modelling and excel skills, including templating, formula hygiene, understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles.

•   Curiosity and attention to detail – willingness to support a wide range of different requirements and work closely with the team to deliver timely and accurate outputs.

How we work

We are a fast paced, and dedicated team. Priorities move quickly yet everything we build is robust, reliable and rigorous at pace. We are team players, but able to work independently, be self-motivated and learn by pushing the boundaries of what we deliver. We care more about how you think and how you work than how your CV looks.

Key details

•   Location: Singapore, in the office

•   Start Date: All three roles start October-November 2026

•   Work rights: Existing Singapore work rights required

•   Initial six-month contract with clear intent to convert to permanent positions based on outperformance and business growth.

How to apply

  • Send your CV and LinkedIn profile to ************* with the role in the subject line, plus two to three paragraphs on the hardest thing you have built or analysed with AI, why you want this role and what you hope to achieve in the first 6 months.
