Job Summary

Systemonex is seeking a skilled Java Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of reliable, scalable, and high-performance software applications in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java programming skills, experience with modern development frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java and related technologies.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop scalable applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code.
• Integrate applications with relational databases and external services.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and application performance problems.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and software releases.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to Agile development activities and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, object-oriented programming, and Java collections.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and backend application development.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
