About the Role

Have experience in sales or retail and ready to lead a team?

PhotoCraft AI is looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to manage our photography and sales operations at Thean Hou Temple. You will lead our photographers and sales staff, support customers and help the team achieve daily and monthly sales targets.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of daily operations and is comfortable actively selling alongside the team. Basic photography knowledge is required, and training on our photography software will be provided.

Your Responsibilities

Lead and Support the Team

• Supervise photographers and sales staff during daily operations.
• Manage attendance, punctuality, discipline and service standards.
• Coach and motivate team members to improve sales performance.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff training when required.

Drive Sales

• Take responsibility for daily and monthly site sales targets.
• Approach customers and actively promote photography products and services.
• Guide the team on effective sales techniques and customer engagement.
• Track individual and team results and identify opportunities to increase sales.

Manage Daily Operations

• Keep photography, printing and sales activities running smoothly.
• Monitor equipment, printing supplies and stock levels, and coordinate replenishment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and daily sales reports.
• Oversee sales transactions and ensure equipment and work areas are maintained and secured.
• Resolve customer concerns and operational issues professionally.

Support Photography and Software Operations

• Assist with basic photography and digital photo handling when needed.
• Use computers, tablets and the company’s photography management software.
• Ensure the team follows established photography, sales and customer service procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in sales, retail operations, team supervision or a related field.
• Strong sales skills and the ability to work towards targets.
• Good leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Good spoken English is essential; Bahasa Malaysia communication skills are preferred.
• Basic photography knowledge; professional photography experience is not required.
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new software.
• A responsible, proactive and organised approach to work.
• Confidence handling customers and solving problems independently.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays according to the roster.

Working Schedule

• 6 working days per week, with 1 rostered rest day.
• Normal working hours: 45 hours per week, with shifts and breaks arranged accordingly.
• Site operating hours: 9:00 AM–6:30 PM. Individual working hours will follow the assigned roster.
• Work arrangement: On-site at Thean Hou Temple, Kuala Lumpur.
