Responsibilities
NANYANG KUNHAO GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee the company's accounting, financial management and financial reporting functions.
The successful candidate will work closely with management and various operational teams to strengthen financial controls, budgeting, cash flow management, cost control and management reporting across the company's business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial statements and management reports.
Manage annual budgets, cash flow planning, expense monitoring and cost control.
Monitor supplier and contractor payments and ensure proper supporting documentation and approval procedures.
Monitor customer accounts, outstanding receivables and credit control.
Manage financial matters relating to purchasing, inventory, sales and project operations.
Review inventory costing and assist with stock reconciliation and inventory control.
Monitor project costs, expenses and profitability for construction and renovation projects.
Prepare financial analysis and reports to support management's business planning and decision-making.
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities where required.
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documentation.
Assist in improving internal financial procedures, controls and reporting systems.
Work closely with purchasing, sales, warehouse, retail and project teams on finance-related matters.
Support management in other accounting and financial management matters as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
.
Minimum
5 years of relevant working experience
in accounting, finance or financial management.
Experience in preparing management accounts, budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting and cost control.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and communicate effectively with different departments and external parties.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP systems.
Experience in
trading, retail, construction, renovation, project-based businesses or multi-outlet operations
will be an advantage.
Experience with
inventory costing, supplier payments, purchasing and operational finance
will be an advantage.
