Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Optician (Refraction & Dispensing) to manage our optical showroom and host evening livestream sales on Shopee and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct refraction, vision testing and spectacle dispensing within the permitted scope of practice.
• Recommend suitable frames, lenses and coatings; take optical measurements and coordinate prescription orders.
• Perform ultrasonic cleaning, frame adjustments, nose pad replacement and minor eyewear repairs.
• Carry out routine optical equipment cleaning and operational checks.
• Manage showroom operations, walk-in customers, retail sales, inventory and after-sales services.
• Host engaging livestream sales sessions, demonstrate products, interact with viewers and drive online sales.

Working Schedule

• 1pm–6pm: Refraction, dispensing, showroom sales and operations.
• 6pm–7pm: Meal break.
• 7pm–10pm: Livestream sales and hosting.
• 5-day work week, including Saturday and Sunday.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of relevant optical retail experience.
• Registered with Singapore's OOB as an Optician (Refraction & Dispensing) with a valid Practising Certificate and eligible to practise independently.
• Proficient in refraction, dispensing, optical measurements and frame fitting.
• Good knowledge of spectacle lenses, frames and coatings.
• Strong customer service, sales and communication skills.
• Confident on camera and willing to conduct livestream sales.
• Able to work independently and manage showroom operations.
• Livestream experience is an advantage but not compulsory.

Salary & Commission

Basic Salary: S$3,000–S$3,500/month

Physical Showroom Commission:

• 10% on monthly eligible showroom sales exceeding S$25,000.
• Capped at S$800/month.

Livestream Commission:

• 10% of eligible livestream product sales — NO CAP.
• Based on sales revenue, not profit.
• No deduction for platform fees or seller operating expenses.
• Cancelled and refunded orders excluded or adjusted.

Commission calculations and payment terms are subject to the company's written commission policy.
