Bufori Motor Car Company is looking for highly competent and experienced auto electricians capable of working on both classic and modern vehicles.

Candidates must be able to independently diagnose, repair, rebuild, install and modify complete automotive electrical systems.

Experience should include:

• Tracing faults in complete vehicle wiring systems

• Reading, understanding and producing wiring diagrams

• Repairing, modifying or manufacturing complete wiring harnesses

• Diagnosing poor earth connections, voltage drops, open circuits, short circuits and intermittent faults

• Working with traditional fuse boxes, relays, switches and connectors

• Repairing starter motors, dynamos, alternators and charging systems

• Working with voltage regulators and traditional charging circuits

• Diagnosing coils, condensers, contact points and distributor-based ignition systems

• Repairing lighting, gauges, instruments, warning systems and wiper systems

• Diagnosing modern sensors, actuators and electronically controlled systems

• Working with ECUs, control modules, CAN bus and multiplexed wiring systems

• Using diagnostic equipment correctly while still applying proper electrical fault-finding methods

• Installing modern accessories and electronic systems professionally and safely

• Upgrading older electrical systems without unnecessarily compromising originality or appearance

We require genuine auto electricians who can diagnose the cause of a fault methodically. This is not a position limited to installing accessories or replacing components until a problem disappears.

Experience with British, European, American or Japanese vehicles would be highly regarded.

Experienced, retired or semi-retired auto electricians are also encouraged to apply.
