Job Overview

We are a growing, fast-paced renovation and interior fit-out company with our own fully equipped, modern carpentry factory in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

This role bridges the gap between design and physical production. You will be responsible for converting interior design technical drawings into production-ready CNC programs, optimizing material usage, and coordinating the factory production pipeline to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.

Fresh graduates in Engineering, Product/Industrial Design, Interior Design, Wood Technology, Architecture, or related fields are highly encouraged to apply. Full training on the machinery and production workflow will be provided.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Wood Technology, Architecture, or a related field.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar 2D/3D modelling software is required.

• Familiarity with or strong willingness to learn CNC nesting and cabinet manufacturing software.

• Able to accurately read and interpret technical interior architectural drawings, detailed sections, and cutting lists.

• Fresh graduates with a strong spatial mindset and technical aptitude are welcome to apply.

• Prior internship or hands-on experience in carpentry, cabinet-making, or manufacturing is a major advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with designers, project managers, and factory team members.

• Must be able to work on-site at the factory in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

• Translate 2D/3D technical drawings into machine-readable G-code using CNC nesting software.

• Plan and optimize sheet layouts (nesting) to maximize material yield and minimize wastage.

• Manage raw material inventory.

• Oversee the daily production schedule on the factory floor.

• Ensure carpentry workers meet target timelines and quality benchmarks.

• Inspect cut components and finished carpentry pieces against design specifications before site installation.

• Ensure the CNC nesting machine and other factory equipment are operated safely and undergo routine maintenance.

• Collaborate closely with the interior design and project management teams to resolve technical detailing issues before production.

• Comprehensive hands-on training on modern CNC nesting machinery and specialized production software.
• Direct exposure to the interior renovation and custom carpentry industry.
• Clear career progression towards Factory Manager or Production Director.
