Responsibilities
Identify and develop strategic partnerships with overseas educational institutions, colleges, universities and training organisations.
Develop priority overseas markets (China) for student recruitment.
Establish articulation, progression and overseas pathway opportunities where appropriate.
Represent the institution in meetings and negotiations with strategic partners locally and internationally.
Identify new business opportunities that support the institution's growth and diversification.
Develop new programmes, market opportunities and commercial initiatives in collaboration with academic and management teams.
Represent the institution at overseas education fairs, conferences, business meetings and networking events.
Build the institution's profile and reputation within relevant international education markets.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business development opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in business development, corporate development, strategic partnerships, investment, technology or related sectors.
Demonstrated experience in developing strategic partnerships and new business opportunities.
Strong commercial and financial understanding with the ability to evaluate business and investment opportunities.
Experience working with senior management, boards, investors or other senior stakeholders.
Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
International business experience and an established professional network will be an advantage.
Implementing FWAs successfully through training and senior management support.
