About the Company

Our client is an established international solutions provider supporting customers across the engineering, manufacturing and industrial sectors. With a growing presence in Singapore, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and expand their customer base.

The Opportunity

This is a hunter-focused role for an experienced sales professional who enjoys identifying new opportunities, building strong customer relationships and driving business growth. You will be responsible for developing new accounts, understanding customers' technical requirements and working closely with the internal team to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across Singapore.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers in engineering, manufacturing and industrial sectors.
• Conduct customer visits to understand operational requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations together with the internal sales support team.
• Work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate sales activities and customer records using the company's CRM system.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to expand the customer portfolio.
• Contribute towards achieving the team's annual sales targets.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of Business Development or Technical Sales experience.
• Experience selling technical or industrial solutions to manufacturing, electronics or engineering customers.
• Candidates with experience in Test & Measurement, instrumentation, electronic test equipment, industrial equipment or related technical products are highly encouraged to apply.
• Strong hunter mindset with proven success in developing new business.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Experience using CRM systems will be an advantage.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence and own a car or motorcycle for customer visits.
