Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for engineering, design coordination, and technical management across the project lifecycle.
Establish engineering strategies, construction methodologies, temporary works approaches, and buildability standards aligned with project objectives.
Direct engineering, construction, BIM, and site teams in resolving complex technical challenges and coordinating design interfaces.
Oversee engineering deliverables, including shop drawings, method statements, technical submissions, and construction documentation.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, authority requirements, project specifications, contractual obligations, and company standards.
Establish processes for identifying and mitigating technical, design, and construction risks.
Monitor engineering performance and design development to support project schedules and delivery targets.
Lead value engineering and design optimisation initiatives to improve quality, productivity, constructability, and cost effectiveness.
Collaborate with project leadership to align engineering solutions with construction programmes and resource requirements.
Oversee statutory submissions and authority approvals to support timely project execution.
Maintain compliance with the company's Quality Management System, ISO requirements, and EHS policies.
Champion BIM adoption, digital construction technologies, and innovative engineering practices.
Provide regular reports on engineering performance, technical risks, and key issues to the Project Director and senior management.
Lead the development, mentoring, and succession planning of engineering personnel.
