Full Time Quality Assurance Manager Jobs, in PA FOOD Selangor - Maukerja

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on QA Manager to join our growing food manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our Quality Assurance and Food Safety systems, ensuring that all products consistently meet regulatory, customer, and company standards.

This is a key role within our manufacturing operation, working closely with Production, R&D, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Management to maintain high standards of food safety and product quality.

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Food Safety team.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's food safety management systems.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, Halal, BRCGS/FSSC 22000 and other applicable food safety standards.
• Monitor and verify quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process, from raw material receiving to finished products.
• Review and maintain product specifications, HACCP plans, SOPs, work instructions, quality records, and food safety documentation.
• Manage and coordinate internal, customer, certification body, and regulatory audits.
• Lead investigations into customer complaints, non-conformities, product defects, and food safety incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure effective implementation of traceability, product recall, allergen management, sanitation, pest control, environmental monitoring, and food safety programmes.
• Monitor microbiological, chemical, physical, and other relevant product testing requirements.
• Work closely with Production to identify quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Evaluate and approve raw materials, packaging materials, suppliers, and finished products based on quality and food safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian food regulations and requirements for export markets and international customers.
• Train and develop QA/QC personnel on food safety, quality standards, GMP, hygiene, and relevant procedures.
• Analyse quality trends and prepare regular reports and recommendations for Management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce quality issues, customer complaints, wastage, and product non-conformities.

• Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within the food manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in frozen food.
• Experience in managing a QA/QC team is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Halal and food safety management systems.
• Experience with BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 or similar certification standards will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of food manufacturing processes, quality control, hygiene, allergen management, and food safety requirements.
• Experience handling customer and third-party audits, including international customers, is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently, take ownership, and make sound decisions on quality and food safety matters.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Candidates with experience in frozen food, bakery, pastry, ready-to-eat, or convenience food manufacturing will be highly preferred.
