Senior Team Lead, Corporate Secretarial Services

What the role covers:
- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of important clients, offering advisory guidance and spotting opportunities to deepen the relationship or bring in additional services
- Overseeing corporate secretarial support for a range of corporate and fund structures, from coordinating governance meetings to preparing agendas, minutes and resolutions
- Keeping the practice compliant with local company law, regulatory filing requirements and internal policy, including upkeep of statutory records
- Signing off on more complex corporate matters, such as entity incorporations, restructurings, share transactions, changes in directorship and entity closures
- Coaching and reviewing the work of junior staff to maintain quality and accuracy
- Building and leading a team of corporate secretarial professionals, including planning resourcing needs and succession
- Supporting staff engagement, performance and ongoing skills development
- Pushing for better processes and stronger consistency across how work gets done
- Keeping an eye on risk controls, team productivity and portfolio profitability
- Getting involved in wider business improvement and change initiatives
What you'll need:
- A recognised governance or company secretarial qualification (or equivalent) preferred
- A degree in Law, Business, Accounting or a related discipline
- Roughly 10 or more years in corporate secretarial work, ideally with a corporate services or professional services firm
- Experience handling sizeable, complex client portfolios across different jurisdictions and entity types
- A solid background leading people, including developing other managers
- Exposure to multinational companies, private equity, funds or listed entities would be well regarded
- Good working knowledge of local company law and governance standards
- A strong compliance and risk mindset, paired with sound commercial judgement
