Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to Risk and Legal business stakeholders, understanding business needs and translating them into technology or operational solutions.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring agreed scope, timelines, budget, quality, and business objectives are achieved.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, assess current processes, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Develop and maintain project plans, delivery milestones, resource plans, and implementation roadmaps.
• Manage stakeholders across Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Operations, and other relevant business functions to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
• Manage project scope, change requests, dependencies, and impacts on timelines, costs, and deliverables, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained.
• Establish and maintain project governance, including steering committee meetings, working group discussions, investment approvals, and management reporting.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating critical matters and driving timely resolution.
• Coordinate implementation planning and execution with business users, technology teams, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure project activities comply with internal governance, risk management policies, regulatory requirements, and established change management processes.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate delivery updates, key risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Support solution scoping and evaluation, considering business value, regulatory obligations, scalability, maintainability, operational impact, cost, and technology risks.
• Drive process improvements and support the delivery of strategic initiatives across Risk and Legal functions.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or consulting, with strong exposure to Business Analysis, Project Management, or a hybrid BA/PM role.
• Strong domain knowledge in Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, or related regulatory and control functions within financial services.
• Experience delivering projects involving regulatory compliance, risk governance, data privacy, regulatory reporting, or legal and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and initiatives, such as PDPA, FATCA, CRS, and other applicable banking regulations.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end project delivery, business requirements, project governance, scope changes, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong understanding of banking technology and operational processes across multiple functions and departments.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology, operations, risk, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate solutions and assess business and technology impacts.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, including the ability to engage senior management.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, manage competing priorities, and maintain delivery focus in an ambiguous and fast-changing environment.
• SQL, data modelling, and data visualisation skills are advantageous.
