Beverage Preparation Skills: Prior experience brewing local coffee/tea (Kopi/Teh pulling) and assembling cold or specialty drinks in a high-volume F&B environment.

Order Accuracy & Speed: Ability to read beverage chit screens quickly and batch orders efficiently during peak meal hours.

Physical Stamina: Comfort working near hot brewing stations and handling ice bins and beverage crates.

Food Safety & Equipment Care: Knowledge of beverage hygiene, ice handling, and routine cleaning of brewing tools and grinders.

Team Coordination: Clear verbal communication in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English with floor runners to maintain smooth drink dispatch.

Specialty & Traditional Drink Brewing: Prepare high-volume local coffees and teas (Kopi, Teh, Cham) using traditional long-spout pots and flannel strainers alongside modern espresso machines or automated milk frothers.

Cold Beverage & Signature Drink Assembly: Craft iced drinks, fresh juices, and signature modern kopitiam options (e.g., Cendol lattes, salted cream teas, or fizzy soda concoctions) following strict recipe standards and presentation guidelines.

Beverage Order Management & Speed of Service: Monitor POS order screens or chit tickets to assemble and batch beverage orders efficiently during peak breakfast, lunch, and dinner rushes.

Station Setup & Ingredient Restocking: Maintain continuous stock of brewed tea bases, coffee concentrates, condensed milk, evaporative milk, sugar syrups, ice bins, and take-away cups throughout the shift.

Equipment Maintenance & Hygiene Compliance: Clean, sanitize, and descale coffee strainers, blender jars, ice machines, and espresso portafilters regularly to uphold strict food safety standards.
