• Drive the development of automated equipment and systems to meet performance, productivity and safety requirements.

• Advise project teams on automation concepts and resolve technical design challenges.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their feasibility for improving equipment and processes.

• Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, control, electronic and software elements into production operations.

• Develop and manage project proposals for new products and customer enquiries.

• Lead assigned programmes, keeping delivery aligned with business priorities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design, machine automation or a related field.

• Proficient in SolidWorks, Creo, NX or similar design software.

• Experience designing mechanical systems, machine components, medical devices and automation equipment.

• Knowledge of PLC programming, robotics and control systems.
