About the role
Business Development role reporting to the Head of Business Development to support team targets and execute business development strategies to grow the client base.
Key responsibilities
- Report to the Head of Business Development and support team targets
- Assist in executing business development strategies to grow our client base
- Identify and generate new leads and business opportunities
- Follow up on enquiries, leads and tenders up to contract award
- Prepare proposals, quotations and tender submissions
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients
- Coordinate with internal departments on new opportunities
- Prepare reports and updates for the Head of Business Development
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, Sales or related commercial roles
- Experience in the security services industry is an added advantage
- Experience in client acquisition, proposals or tenders is preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Good commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, results-driven and a team player
